Rocco - Walking for a Future Without Canine Cancer
My name is Rocco. I'm a ten-year-old Miniature Schnauzer with a big heart and an even bigger mission. Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer - but thanks to incredible access to the groundbreaking immunotherapy, I'm still wagging my tail, and living life to the fullest.
I'm now stepping up - literally - for a cause close to my heart. I'm taking part to raise money for canine cancer research, walking in honor of all the dogs still fighting, and in memory of those who have crossed the rainbow bridge.
Please join Wag Love Life and help fund life-saving research. Together, we can give more dogs the chance to keep walking, playing, and living the lives they deserve. Thank you! Love and kisses, Rocco

Hunter's Cancer Disappears
Hunter was trained as a search-and-rescue dog and took part in many FEMA missions, but in 2022, just when he was about to retire, he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, an aggressive bone cancer.
His mom knew the grim prognosis of osteosarcoma, so she got him enrolled in the EGFR/HER2 immunotherapy trial.
Now, almost three years later, Hunter shows no signs of cancer and recently celebrated his 12th birthday.

About Canine Cancer Alliance
We're on a mission to end canine cancer.
Canine Cancer Alliance, a 501c3 foundation, raises awareness and supports research for canine cancer cures. Supported research projects include the EGFR/HER2 canine cancer vaccine and other immunotherapy studies that are helping dogs enjoy more time with their families. Wag Love Life walk/run event was started in 2019 and is inspired by an ancient festival in Nepal, a special day where all dogs are honored and thanked for their loyalty and friendship.
Turning heartbreak into action.
Cancer is the number one cause of death for our furry family members. One in four dogs will end up with cancer. Registration fees and donations support studies led by scientists and veterinarians, seeking safer and much more effective treatments for our beloved pets.
Wag Love Life 2025 is made possible by these generous sponsors.
